If you have recently registered a new domain name example .com .net .org you will be sent a contact verification email by ICANN the governing body that regulates the domain space on the internet.

Failure to respond to this email within 15 days results in your domain name being suspended indefinately.

Your website will be replaced with a holding page similar to the one shown below. To reactivae your domain simply follow the instructions set out on this hold page and another email will be send to you for verification purposes.
