Domain names will attempt to auto renew by default if you have a credit card linked to your account. To disable this functionality you need to login to your client area, from the client menu click on Domains > My Domains and click on the domain you wish to modify. From the menu optoins visible on the left , click on Auto Renew and then Disable Auto Renew.

With auto renew disabled, no invoice will be generated for your domain name when the renew date is approaching so no payment will be taken.

Please note if a domain name is not renewed , all services associated with the domain i.e email, website and dns records will stop functioning.
