We backup our shared hosting servers daily keeping a minimum of 7 days backups, after 7 days the oldest backup is overwritten. We do not charge for this service. However, there is a charge for restoring files/databases from our backups. Contact support@myhost.ie for more information.
Cloud Servers
Cloud servers are backed up daily keeping a minimum of 7 days snapshots, after 7 days the oldest snapshot is overwritten. We do not charge for this service, however, there will be a fee involved to restore for non-managed servers. Customers who require a more flexible backup solution can contact our sales department.

How do I restore my website if there is a problem?
Please open a support ticket detailing the domain, specific files and database if required and date to restore the backup from.
Should I be performing my own separate backups ?
Yes, absolutely we highly recommend you create your own separate local backups. Even though we will backup your website data and files we do not guarantee the integrity of your data. We would recommend creating a full backup of your website after any major website changes a the very least.
