Symptoms of this issue are:
- Mail not populating when using IMAP on Outlook
- Sent Items, Outbox, Junk Email folder etc. show up as the subfolders of the Inbox folder.
Until Microsoft releases an update to fix the issue, use the following workaround:
1 . Navigate to Home > Info > Account Settings > Account Settings:
2. Select the Email account and Select Change:
3. Set the Root Folder Path to INBOX (in caps) as below and select Next:
4. Finally Close:
Mail should now sync correctly from your mail server.
